Community to help decide future of Bletchley’s Brunel Shopping Centre
Milton Keynes City Council is set to ask residents to help decide the future of Bletchley’s Brunel Shopping Centre and the former Sainsbury’s site as plans to revitalise the town centre take shape.
The city council has prepared a draft development brief for the Brunel Centre, which will inform the future use and design for the site.
MK City Council’s independent property arm, Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP), purchased the site earlier this year to form part of the Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Deal project. This project will see major improvements to Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, partly paid for by £23m in government funding the city council had previously secured.
