Grant scheme for Bletchley and Fenny Stratford businesses is now closed
Milton Keynes City Council launched a grant scheme for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford, which has now closed. The scheme was co-funded by Milton Keynes City Council and the government’s Towns Fund. The South Midlands Growth Hub is providing administrative support and help in delivering this scheme.
The Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Business Grant Scheme offered two types of business grants, the Startup Grant and the Existing Business Grant.
Startup Grant – up to £2,500
The Startup Grant aims to support entrepreneurs in need of assistance to be business ready, to develop and grow an existing business through additional business support. The Startup Grant was open to new businesses under 3 years old, operating or registered in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford. The Startup Grant may be used for marketing, branding, training, business planning, financial management, sustainability and IT equipment.
Existing Business Grant – up to £5,000
The Existing Business Grant aims to support existing businesses who demonstrate a strategic ambition to grow. This growth can be through the introduction of a new product or service, or the scaling of existing products and services. The Existing Business Grant was available to existing businesses trading over 3 years operating or registered in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford. The Existing Business Grant may be used for the purchase of new equipment, consultancy, training, rebranding, software development, repairs and maintenance of premises.
Application Deadlines
The deadline for grant applications has passed. We are now evaluating those we have received.
Applicants will be contacted in January with the outcome of their application.
